This was the makeup I wore in the Oxford trip here. Again, the 88 Colour Palette was used but there is no pictorial illustration of specific shadows used this time. Sorry! But I’ll describe the shades used. I believe for those whom are interested, the look can be easily re-created using similar colours from other brands. =)
What I’ve used:
FACE
Etude House Dr. Oil Solution Shine Free Dual Primer
Revlon Photoready foundation in Shell mix with NARS Sheer Glow in Mont Blanc
NYX Concealer in a jar in Fair
MAC MSF Natural in Medium
NYX Powder Blush in Taupe (contour)
MAC MSF in Soft & Gentle
MAC MSF in Porcelain Pink
Revlon Matte Powder Blush in Perfectly Peach
LIPS
Burt’s Bees Honey Lip Balm
Revlon Matte Lipstick in Pink Pout
MAC Lipglass in Underage
EYES
MAC Paint Pot in Painterly
88 Colour Palette
A lilac shade all over the lid
A purple shade on the outer corner and inner corner and line lower lash line
A dark purple to subtly smoke out the outer corner
A shimmery silver blend into the crease
A matte cream colour to highlight the brow bone
MAC Grand Entrance (tear duct area)
Revlon ColorStay Eyeliner in Black/Noir
MAX Factor Masterpiece High Definition mascara in Rich Black
During the trip, we randomly walked into Boots without having anything in mind to pick up. I went to the Revlon aisle and voila, saw the lipgloss that Lollipop26 raved about in her video. I swatched it and it looked so gorgeous that I had to get it. There was a 3 for 2 sales on all Revlon cosmetics and so I had to pick up another two items, right? So here’s the tiny Revlon haul.
From left to right:
Revlon Matte Powder Blush in Rose Rupture
Revlon Nail Polish in Pink Nude
Revlon Super Lustrous Lip Gloss in Peach Petal
The lip gloss is really pretty and it reminds me a lot of MAC’s Underage, only that this is a lot more wearable. If you dislike Underage because it tends to wash-out your lips, this is a great dupe without overly muting your lips. It has been in my purse all the time since I bought it!
That’s all for the FOTD and haul.
Have a great day and thank you for reading. =)

pretty FOTD :]
